HITTING LEAGUE RULES
The winning team will have the most total points at the end of the game. Ways to score: Back Net 50
points Protective pitching screen
10 points Side net above yellow line 10 points Side net below yellow line 5 points Special Hanging Target 100 Points - The ball must hit the scoring nets IN THE AIR,
and not bounce first
- Ground balls, fly balls, swing and miss,
foul tips and foul balls are all outs.
- Six inning game.
Home team determined by coin toss. Extra innings if tied after six innings. (Bracket play only)
- 3 playeres to a team. Player is out if he hits out of turn.
Pick up playere are allowed to fill a spot if regular player is absent. If team has only 2 players, an out must be taken
for the missing spot.
- Each batter gets maximum of four pitches
to hit. Batter continues to hit if he is scoring. Once he records 3 outs, next batter in turn hits.
- Each player will receive 3 outs per half inning. ( 9 outs per half inning
)
- Batting helmets are required.
- Tennis
shoes are to be worn, not cleats.
- The pitcher is required to pitch from behind
pitching screen, which will be 35' from back of home plate.
- Each
team will furnish their own pitcher
- No arguing calls made by the umpire.
- Game time is forfeit time. (When umpire calls captains for coin toss)
The winning team will receive prizes and the top individual point winner in pool play
will receive a prize
